On 25 November 2018 Gorkhapatra Corporation, Nepal under the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology announced International Tender for the supply and delivery of 400 MT Newsprint Paper in Reel. Out of three bidders, Asia Corporation won the bid being the lowest bidder with NRs. 103,000 per MT in cooperation with Emami Paper Mills Limited owned by the Emami Group of India, the largest conglomerate of India. On behalf of Asia Corporation Mr. Prakash Subedi signed the agreement with Gorkhapatra Corporation represented by Ms. Mina Adhikari, Procurement Head on 12 March 2019. The newsprint reel consists of 45 GSM with 60 brightness as per the demand of Gorkhapatra Corporation.
